Baki Hanma Season 2 Episode 13, the finale of the series finally answered all the questions, fans had regarding the series. Part 1 of Baki Hanma Season 2, which is based on the Pickle Arc from the manga has finally come to an end.
‘Baki Hanma Season 2’ is based on the manga, ‘Baki the Grappler’ by Keisuke Itakagi, and is the sequel to the popular anime, ‘Baki’. The anime follows the life of a teenager, Baki, and his quest to fight his father, who is the strongest man in the world. Season 2 of Baki Hanma is divided into two parts, with Part 2, titled ‘The Father vs Son Saga’ all set to release on August 24, 2023.

Baki Hanma Season 2 Episode 12: Recap
In Episode 12, Victory seems certain for Baki who using his mind games and martial arts has driven Pickle into a corner. Out of all the fighters in ‘Baki’, he is the only one who managed to knock down Pickle twice. As a last resort, Pickle takes his final fighting pose, which is very similar to Yujirou Hanma’s.

After taking his final fighting pose, Pickle flexed his muscles and loosened his giants, which revealed scars from a T-rex bite. Retsu and Hanayama who are spectating, clap their hands, as a show of appreciation and respect for Pickle, who survived the jaws of a T-Rex.
Pickle tries attacking Baki, but Baki’s martial arts are far superior. Baki mocks Pickle and tells him that he will show what a modern human being, who has mastered the art of fighting can do. Baki easily manages to dodge Pickle and using his counters, knocks out Pickle.
Baki does not deliver the finishing blow and instead decides to battle it out with Baki. The two have a long-standing duel and they both fall unconscious to the ground. Retsu believes that Pickle won, but Hanayama tells him that Baki is the clear winner, as Pickle was the one who did not deliver the final blow.
Baki Hanma Season 2 Episode 13: What’s Next for Pickle?
There are different opinions on what should be done with Pickle. A referendum of 1 billion people is held, and it is decided that Pickle should be put back into the preservative saline rock formation. This decision is made on a mere favorable 1000 votes, from the 1 billion.
Yujirou is meeting up with Barack Obama, who signs a treaty of friendship with ‘The Ogre’. Pickle has escaped his enclosure, and as thanks, gives the head of the T-rex he killed, to Payne and Captain Strydum, before disappearing.
Baki Hanma Season 2 Episode 13 ended with Part 1 of the Season coming to a rather unusual conclusion. Where is Pickle? Will Baki and Yujirou fight next? Hopefully, all the questions are answered in the next episode of Baki Hanma Season 2.
