On February 22, 2022, the last chapter of “Fire Force” (jap.: “En’en no Shōbōtai”) was released in Japan. Fittingly, current figures for the total circulation are now known. There are currently over 18 million issues of the action story in circulation worldwide.
Kodansha publishes Fire Force manga
The manga “Fire Force” was penned by Atsushi Ōkubo. The 305-chapter story appeared in Kōdansha’s “Shūkan Shōnen Jump” magazine between September 2015 and February 2022. There are 33 volumes in stores. The official Fire Force Twitter account has confirmed that Fire Force Season 3 TV anime is in production.
Kodansha collected its chapters in thirty-four tankōbon volumes, released from February 17, 2016, to May 17, 2022.
A 48-part anime adaptation of “Fire Force” was created under the direction of Yūki Yase (Season I) and Tatsuma Minamikawa (Season II) at Studio David Production (“JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure”). The series is available on DVD and Blu-ray.
