The Netflix show Daybreak has a pretty much similar theme to Teenage Bounty Hunters. the series based on a comic book by Brian Ralph talks about a time when these teenagers go on an adventure to find a long lost love of a boy named Josh. The story has a knight and shining armor kinda theme but is loved by the fans. The series came out in 2019 and since then fans have been loving the show and wishing for a season 2.

Daybreak Season 1 Plot: Teenagers against a Witch
The series follows Josh, a 17-year-old student who is trying to find his girlfriend Sam in post-apocalyptic Glendale, California. The world is filled with dangerous gangs, zombie-like creatures known as Ghoulies, and many other threats that Josh must face to survive. Alongside him are Angelica, a 12-year-old pyromaniac, and Wesley, Josh’s former high school bully who has since become a pacifist samurai. Together, they must work to navigate this terrifying new world.
The initial season of the show primarily focuses on Josh’s quest to locate Sam. Along the way, his team gradually unites while navigating a feud between the various groups of survivors vying for power in the post-apocalyptic world.
Angelica finds herself trapped in a cage within a cereal factory. Her mission is to activate a nuclear bomb alongside Baron, but she refuses to do so. Meanwhile, the residents at Glendale Mall are in a dilemma about whether to flee from the oncoming explosion or stop Baron Triumph. Elsewhere, Wesley Fists and Turbo seem to be in a heated battle, but their guns surprisingly shoot out confetti, leaving everyone puzzled.
Daybreak Season 2 on Netflix: What to Expect?
The final episode of Daybreak had some unexpected moments. One such moment was when the Baron’s hands merged with those of The Witch. Additionally, the Baron fed her a human named Demi, who was the leader of the Cheermazons. To stop the Baron’s plan for the apocalypse, Josh and the other mall residents formed a large marching band, which provoked the Ghoulies to fight the jocks. Even though Angelica was advised to leave, she refused as the nuke was armed. The first season of Daybreak concluded with the defeat of Principal Burr.
If Daybreak Season 2 were to occur, we might have witnessed the emergence of new social dynamics resulting from Sam’s ascension to the throne. The finale hinted at some potential conspiracies surrounding her rise to power, which could have made for interesting viewing material as we observed the type of rule she would have imposed during her reign. Regarding Josh, Sam rejected his proposal to elope, thus a potential focus for Daybreak Season 2 could have been centered on Josh’s transformation in his perception of Sam and his ability to learn from past mistakes to survive in this unfamiliar setting.
