With a successful start for Michelle Buteau on Netflix’s Survival of the Thickest, fans are showering the show and concept with compliments and much more. The series was buzzing regarding its message and mostly targeting the plus-size audience and confidence of doing something you love. Each episode had the character going through many breakthroughs and finally understanding the meaning of putting yourself first rather than others.

The series opens on an exciting note where Mavis, an aspirational designer wants to make her brand but is not in a rush to become one. She is happy with the way life has taken a turn and has a loving boyfriend Jacque who also happens to be in the same profession as a fashion photographer. Her life takes a drastic turn when she finds her soulmate having intercourse with a model.
She is devasted by the turn of events and her friends get her back on the single’s market. She is getting a lot of attention and she is loving it. She starts getting an inclusive job to dress a former supermodel, giving her back the confidence she needs. In the process of making her comfortable in her body, she finds love again and herself. Survival Of The Thickest has given lots of women to get the confidence to whatever they can wear and shine like a dime!!
