Golden Time Season 2: Release Date
The first season of the anime aired from October 2013 to March 2014. As of September 2023, there has been no official confirmation of whether there will be a Golden Time Season 2. It’s been almost a decade since the anime was first released and a Season 2 seems unlikely. We can expect a spin-off or an OVA with better animation.
What to Expect in Golden Time Season 2?
With no confirmation of a Season 2, the plot remains unknown as of now. The story revolves around Banri Tada who suffers from amnesia and forgets all his childhood memories because of an accident. He tries his best to adjust his life in a law school in Tokyo.
He befriends Mitsuo Yanagisawa at the school and the two immediately hit off. He also runs into his childhood friend, Koko Kaga, whom Mitsuo has no recollection of. The two were supposed to get married when they grew older but Banri decides to get rid of her before the accident happens.
Banri also meets Linda, his childhood best friend who blames herself for his memory loss. As things progress, Banri tries to adjust to his new life, while also trying to recollect things from his past. Overall, the anime is the perfect blend of romance and comedy, and fans are hoping that there will be a sequel one day.
