Concrete details about the continuation of the anime adaptation, such as a start date or the contributors to the production, are still pending at this time. We will of course keep you up to date as soon as we have the first news.
The twelve-part first season, which aired in summer 2017, was directed by Takeyuki Yanase (“By the Grace of the Gods”) at Studio Ashi Productions. Natsuko Takahashi (“Norn9”) penned the script, while Toshihide Masudate contributed the character design.
“In Another World With My Smartphone” is available in the original language with English subtitles and with English dubbing from the streaming provider Crunchyroll.

In Another World With My Smartphone: Storyline
15-year-old Mochizuki Touya wakes up after an unusual accident in which he is killed by a lightning strike and comes face to face with God. “I’m sorry to say that I made quite a mistake …” laments the old codger. But all is not lost!
God says he can reincarnate Touya into a fantasy world, and as a bonus, he gets to take his smartphone with him! So begins Touya’s adventure in a new world.
