Love Live! Superstar!!: Season 2 Release Date
The twelve-part first season of “Love Live! Superstars!!” was directed by Takahiko Kyōgoku, who had worked on previous Love Live! projects. Jukki Hanada took care of the script. Atsushi Saito (including Black Fox ) was responsible for the character design. The music was composed by Yūhei Murota. The series is available on Crunchyroll. The second season is scheduled to premiere on Japanese TV on July 17, 2022.
Love Live! Superstar!! is the fourth series in the Love Live! franchise, created by animation studio Sunrise, music label Lantis, and Kadokawa’s Dengeki G’s magazine.
The franchise includes several anime projects
The “Love Live!” franchise started back in 2010 and initially started with CDs and animated music videos. The first anime series followed in 2013. In 2014, the franchise was also enriched with a second TV anime and in 2015 with a film. At the same time, the project “Love Live! Sunshine!!“ was launched. This inspired two more seasons of TV anime and a movie. The associated film was also shown in the cinema as part of the AKIBA PASS Festival 2019 with English subtitles.
