Being Henry Cavill’s last appearance as the White Wolf, fans wanted to see him for the last time as the Geralt of Rivia.
The Witcher Season 3 Vol-1-Plot
The five episodes of The Witcher season 3 sets at different locations. Some places have a human population next to nil. Ciri, Geralt, and Yennefer travel to the southern, eastern side of the continent where hardly anybody knows who Ciri is. But to their fate, they are always found by hunters.
Amid this Yennefer teaches Ciri to control magic and learn to harness it for use and fighting. Ciri is trying to find her way but with nightmares and visions of death, she is afraid to become like those heartless creatures. She tried to run and fight but wants to bring peace to all the species.
Towards the end of The Witcher Season 3 Vol-1, Ciri is safeguarded by Jaskier who still finds his way but friendship to him is the most he values even his vocal talents. Yennefer and Geralt are at the conclave ball in Arentuza where half-elven mages are kidnapped and killed. Some from the past want Ciri and capture her powers and bring destruction. Who is that? The Witcher Season 3 Ending Explained
The first part of The Witcher season 3 comprises 5 episodes. Each episode is introduced with a symbol that mostly gives the gist of the series. The Rose, The Wolf, A Ghost, etc are the symbol of each of the episodes.
Each episode is different from the last but all connect to the ending episode named ‘The Art of illusion’ where Yennifer and Geralt attended the Conclave Ball in Arentuza to find the black sheep. After much hiding and fighting Ciri is brought to Arentuza, the only place where she is safe from hunters and Rience. The ball starts with great charm and attention to the guest (Witcher) but what attracts more attention is Stregobor who seems to be against bringing the North allies with mages.
The man doesn’t want elves to be entered the school and is abducting them from the premise. He stole The Book of Monoliths, which is the ancient book that has the Elder language and also the ways to get rid of elves from the continent. He is stopped by Yennefer and Geralt but again the question arises who is trying to shield Rience from dark chaos and who is behind him? Someone as powerful as the other mages.
Did Yennefer and Geralt find out that mage?
The image is someone who has lived for the past a thousand years but is weak. She is introduced to Ciri in season 2 when she opens the portal to chaos but in season 3 the Witcher, she is someone who hosts the body of another mage. She is somewhere in Nilfguard guarded by an illusion.
She will be introduced in upcoming episodes of The Witcher season 3 Vol-2 or in upcoming seasons.
Is Ciri the Aelirenn rebirth?
The story of Aelirenn was about in elven warrior who thought she could kill humans but failed. Many theories say that Ciri could be her in a part as she is also half-elf but is a mage too and an Elder blood runs through her veins. She doesn’t believe in destruction but is one. She is looking for a key to harmonize the elves and other species living on the continent peacefully. Technically she is not but let’s see in upcoming episodes of The Witcher Season 3.
Is Ciri being cloned?
In the mid part of episode 3, a girl name Terysn who is experimented on and is clouded with memories of Ciri thinks she is Ciri. Someone who is a mage is trying to manipulate her with this and make her go weak. Nothing is revealed about what is this experiment and the creature who possessed her and some girls like her.
Did Jaskier find someone?
If we say that Jaskier has found some then, technically yes but we can’t say if he is the love of his life. An interesting turn of events has taken in the forest where Jaskier kisses King Vizimir’s brother. He is obliged that some value him.
