Fan’s of the horror anthology series Them, you might be wondering when the second season will arrive on Prime Video. Unfortunately, we have some bad news for you: Them season 2 is not coming to the streaming service in 2023.
The first season of Them, subtitled Covenant, premiered on Prime Video in April 2021 and received mixed reviews from critics and audiences. The show followed a Black family who moved to an all-white neighborhood in Los Angeles in the 1950s and faced both racist harassment and supernatural threats.
The show was renewed for a second season in April 2021, but no release date has been announced yet. The second season will have a different subtitle and a new story with new characters, similar to American Horror Story.
In an interview with Deadline, creator and executive producer Little Marvin revealed some details about the second season. He said that it will be set in a different time period and explore a different facet of American history. He also said that he wants to keep the show “surprising and fresh” and that he has a “five-season bible” for the series.
However, he did not reveal when the second season will start filming or when it will be released. He only said that he is “very excited” about it and that he hopes to share more news soon.
So, for now, we can only wait and hope that Them season 2 will come to Prime Video sometime in 2024. Until then, you can rewatch the first season or check out some other horror shows on the streaming service, such as The Boys, The Expanse, or The Wilds.
