Family Guy, one of the most recognizable adult animated television programs, has established a cult following since its debut in 1999. 4. Season 15
Season 15 of “Family Guy” saw a decline in viewership, averaging 3.93 million viewers as opposed to 4.2 million viewers for season 14 (excluding encore episodes). Theoretically, this season will attempt to revert to its original format by releasing a number of stand-alone episodes based on current pop culture. Chris asks Taylor Swift out in the song “Chris Has Got a Date, Date, Date, Date,” which is a moderately hilarious dig at the practice of inviting famous people to prom. In “Gronkowsbees,” Rob Gronkowski moves in next door to the Griffins, and while it’s merely a chance for a celebrity cameo, it’s harmlessly entertaining.
3. Season 6
The management of their “Star Wars” spoof episodes by “Family Guy” or “Robot Chicken” is controversial. It’s important to note, though, that George Lucas appreciated what “Family Guy” had accomplished. It was also the program’s first attempt at parody. The episode, appropriately titled “Blue Harvest,” is regarded as a success; even the show’s critics are probably familiar with it. 2. Season 8
Season 8 is a humorous blend of erratic strands and daring beats that nevertheless manage to produce quality humour. The second episode of the “Star Wars” parody trilogy from the show, “Something, Something Dark Side,” is just as hilarious as the first. One of the best episodes of the show thus far is “Road to the Multiverse”. In a hilarious and impressively animated half-hour, Brian and Stewie visit numerous alternative realms.
1. Season 9
The best season of “Family Guy” is Season 9, which also has the best episode, “And Then There Were Fewer.” Here, the program parodies Agatha Christie’s contentious book of the same name, which brazenly chose to kill off its lead characters and carried it out. Character deaths on animated television are notoriously difficult to pull off. But in this instance, “Family Guy” sticks to its choice and assembles an absurdly entertaining cast of guest stars for a weekend of murder and mayhem.
