This might come as a shock that ‘The Witcher’ of Netflix popular series Geralt aka Henry Cavill will be last seen in the upcoming season three. The former DC superhero gained a lot of popularity with his mutant character is bid adieu to the series. He is set to play Geralt of Rivia in the series and fans do like his character but as the actor had other projects in hand, he is given a big-fat farewell on the sets.
Why is Cavill leaving ‘The Witcher’?
Henry Cavill is questioned now and then about his leaving the series ‘the Witcher‘. The actor has acknowledged that he had lots of fun filming the show. He said that he had experimented with character now and then and has proven to a great deal. Now the actor is exhausted to be the knight and shinning armor and wants to explore into more genres.
He took his Instagram handle and posted- My journey as Geralt of Rivia has been filled with both monsters and adventures, and alas, I will be laying down my medallion and my swords for Season 4. In my stead, the fantastic Mr Liam Hemsworth will be taking up the mantle of the White Wolf. As with the greatest of literary characters, I pass the torch with reverence for the time spent embodying Geralt and enthusiasm to see Liam’s take on this most fascinating and nuanced of men. Liam, good sir, this character has such a wonderful depth to him, enjoy diving in and seeing what you can find.
